Supporting the Project Manager with the following tasksPURPOSE:
To delight our customers by accurately and efficiently coordinating their color project from start to finish.
DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Gather all of the information and specifications from the customer or sales for producing each project.
Evaluate the information and pieces/parts to determine that everything is correct and will coordinate together for a quality project.
Confirm project specifications with the customer.
Set-up and input all initial job information and revisions into Logic for producing a Job Ticket easily understood by Production.
Process and send all color/coating envelope information to the Color Department.
Proofread/send typeset and printing proofs to the customer/vendor and expedite their completion.
Insure deadlines are met by following-up with customers, vendors, and departments in order to expedite each component (printing, colors, mock-ups, etc.
) according to the production schedule.
Be the liaison between the customer and Dorn for each color project.
Be proactive and inform customer of changes regarding their project.
Your communication goal is for the customer to never be surprised.
When necessary, process purchase orders specific to each project.
Insure outside purchases are received according to schedule.
Check print in according to the quality management system and control plans.
Process FedX and UPS mailings and coordinate closely with shipping on customer shipping specifications.
Be available and flexible to perform other duties that may take overall priority over the current schedule in order to service and please our customers.
